Conditions of Participation for MEDICE Events
These conditions of participation apply to events organised by MEDICE Arzneimittel Pütter GmbH & Co. KG, Kuhloweg 37, 58638 Iserlohn, Germany (‘MEDICE’). As a participant, you are obliged to observe and comply with the conditions of participation.- MEDICE events are open to the specialist group public and are tailored to specific healthcare specialisations. By participating, you confirm that you belong to the relevant specialist group in accordance with the Therapeutic Products Advertising Act (Heilmittelwerbegesetz, “HWG”) or to an equivalent of your country of origin and to a speciality relevant to the content of the event.
- MEDICE's goal is not to offer, promise or grant any benefits that are in conflict with national or international laws and the AKG Code of Conduct (http://www.ak-gesundheitswesen.de/verhaltenskodex/). Accordingly, it is prohibited to offer, promise or grant benefits of any kind, directly or indirectly, to employees and agents of companies, healthcare professionals or public officials, if this is intended to achieve an unfair advantage in the procurement or prescription of goods or services, in particular medicines and medical aids as well as medical devices from MEDICE, or for a breach of duty by the recipient towards the company in such procurement decisions, for the performance of official duties or an official act. MEDICE therefore expressly states that there is no expectation of preferential treatment of MEDICE products or of MEDICE itself. The scope of the benefits granted to participants is within the framework of the AKG Code of Conduct. If you are an employee or civil servant, you must have your participation in the event authorised by your employer/principal. MEDICE will provide you with a corresponding form.
- A successful registration, does not grant a right right to participate. MEDICE is entitled to exclude individual or all participants from the event in whole or in part, to change the contents of the event or to cancel or postpone the event without substitution.
- You are not permitted to make audio-visual recordings of the event. All contents of the event are protected by copyright and may only be edited, copied and redistributed with the explicit authorisation of MEDICE.
- MEDICE shall only be liable for damage to participants in the event of gross negligence or willful intent, limited to the damage typical to this kind of contracts. There is no limitation of liability for damagesn
